Engagements
Manuel-Sherrod Ashley Elizabeth Sherrod of Kernersville is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Sherrod of Sims who announce her engagement to William Christopher Manuel, also of Kernersville, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Van Manuel of Kernersville. The bride is the granddaughter of Thelma Sherrod of Sims and the late Harold Sherrod, and Bertha Lamm of Wilson and the late Willie Lamm. The bridegroom is the grandson of Suzi Riga of Columbia, S.C., Lou Riga of Columbia, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Manuel of Kernersville, N.C. The wedding is Nov. 15 at the Country Club of the Crystal Coast at Pine Knolls Shores, N.C.
