Engagements
Parker-Blank Jo Anne Blank of Wilmington is the daughter of Ms. Jane McMillan Blank of Fayetteville and Mr. David Louis Blank of Fayetteville. Her engagement to Robert Kenelm Parker III of Wilmington, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Randolph Prouty and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenelm Parker Jr., all of Wilson, is announced by her mother. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Paisley McMillan and the late Mr. McMillan of Red Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Blank of San Manuel, Ariz. The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Parrott Parker of Chapel Hill and Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenelm Parker of Wilson. A Sept. 6 wedding is planned at St. Andrews On-the-Sound Episcopal Church in Wilmington.
