Club News New support group A new weekend substance abuse dependency group called "New Directions" will meet for the first time July 5 from 10 a.m. until noon. at St. Paul, 4009 Lake Wilson Road. The meeting is for any chemical substance user, abuser or dependant who wants to quit. You will identify relapse triggers, learn relapse prevention techniques and develop support. Future meetings will be scheduled at this meeting. Call Vickie Dixon at 206-6163 if you need more information or have any questions. Homeschool conference Johnston County Home Educators will hold its 11th annual Bookfair and Homeschool Conference July 12th at Hocutt Memorial Baptist Church, 215 S. Robertson Street, Clayton from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Open to the public, this event will include twelve workshops and 30-plus vendors selling new and used educational materials. Cost is $30 per person and it must be paid in advance.
