Davis-Finch
Stacey Leigh Finch and Nicholas Brian Davis, both of Wilson, exchanged wedding vows May 17 at Evansdale United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. De Wayne Eakes and the Rev. Alan Gibson officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Elaine Taylor of Wilson and Edward H. Finch, Jr. of Zebulon. She is the granddaughter of Nannie Ree Clark of Wilson and the late John B. Clark, and Minda Harris of New Bern and the late Edward H. Finch, Sr. She graduated from James B. Hunt High School, and received her bachelor's degree in health science from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. She is employed by King & King, LLP, as a paralegal.
The bridegroom is the son of Mickey and Sally Davis of Lucama. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. N.H. Tant of Lucama. He graduated from James B. Hunt High School, and received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Barton College. He is the branch manager of the Lucama Branch of The Heritage Bank.
The bride was escorted by her father, Edward H. Finch of Zebulon, and her uncle, W. Randy Hawley of Wilson.
Maid of honor was Kristen Justice of Kansas City, Mo.
Dana Peele Ash of Wilson was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Amerson of Lynchburg, Va., and Nicole Davis Hunt of Wilson, sister of the groom.
Katie Ash of Wilson served as flower girl.
The groom's father was best man.
Groomsmen were Justin Davis of San Francisco, Calif., brother of the groom; Ron Hunt of Wilson, brother-in-law of the groom; and Zane Tant of Wilson, uncle of the groom.
Ushers were Cam Ash of Wilson; Kenneth A. Dew III of Cleveland, Tenn., cousin of the bride; Christopher Clark of Wilson, cousin of the bride; and Bobby Lamm of Lucama.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Evansdale United Methodist Church in Graves Fellowship Hall. Hosts were the bride's family.
On the eve of the ceremony, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Elks Club.
Since returning from their honeymoon in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Wilson.
