Julia Rose Minshew and Marcus Edward Fielding of Wilson were married at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church on Sept. 26. The Rev. Joan Vella officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.

Roney Minshew of Wilson and Dorothy Murray of Princeton are the bride's parents. She is the granddaughter of Miriam W. Minshew of Wilson and the late Dorothy S. Godwin. She graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. She is employed by BB&T as an area operations officer.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Susan Fielding of Wilson. He is the grandson of Hilda Fielding and Gladys Moore of England. He graduated from Franklin County High School in Kentucky and North Carolina State University with a bachelor's degree in business management. He is employed by Merrill Lynch as a financial adviser.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Ashley Davis of Wilson was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Byrd, Stephanie Phillips, Korah Schaffert and Ester Coughlin, all of Greenville.

Carson Fielding and Ellie Fielding were the flower girls.

Best man was Dr. Gregory Appert of Raleigh.

Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Richard Fielding of Mooresville, Kent Martin of Kentucky, Grayson Smith of Charlotte and Dana Boyette of Raleigh.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Wilson County Club.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Wilson House in Bailey.

On the day of the wedding, a bridesmaids' luncheon was hosted by Anthony Nance and Lindsey Hardison at their home.

They have returned from a wedding trip to St. Lucia and are living in Wilson.
