Monday, October 19, 2009 9:41 AM Harris-Suggs LOUISBURG -- Virginia Kathleen Suggs of Rocky Mount and Clark Walston Harris of Wilson exchanged marriage vows Oct. 17 at The Home Place at Jumping Run Farm in Louisburg. The Rev. George H. Greer and the Rev. William Michael Presnell officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Eugene Suggs of Rocky Mount. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Addison Pierce Penfield Sr. and the late Virginia Cameron Penfield of Asheboro, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thilbert Aubra Suggs of Tar Heel. She graduated from Rocky Mount Academy and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in electronic media journalism. She is now the content manager of Findmespecials.com. The groom is the son of Mr. Clyde Peebles Harris Jr. and the late Mrs. Ruth Walston Harris of Wilson. He is the grandson of Mrs. Doris Schaum Walston and the late Mr. Dred Stuart Walston, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Peebles Harris, all of Wilson. He graduated from Woodberry Forest School and Wake Forest University with a degree in photography. He is the founder and president of Findmespecials.com. The bride was escorted by her father. The bride's sister, Lindsey Aubra Suggs of Wilmington, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meredith Leigh Carter, Meredith Courtney Daughtridge, Elizabeth Anne Ladwig and Julia Hall Wessel, all of Washington D.C.; Ashley Vermillion Harris of Raleigh, sister-in-law of the groom; Michaelyn Tempe Koss of Atlanta; and Fleming Harris Samuels of Chapel Hill, sister of the groom. Honorary attendants were Mary Katherine Bynum, Morgan Elise Crawford and Meredith Brooks Custer. Best man was the groom's father. Groomsmen were Zachary Edgar Boone of Wilson; Lewis Chandler Deans of Wilmington; Keith McCullin Hamm of Thomasville, Ga.; Clyde Peebles Harris III of Raleigh, brother of the groom; Kirk Mathew Samuels of Chapel Hill, brother-in-law of the groom; William Wilson Belcher Sebring of San Antonio, Texas; Mark Nicholas Steel of Koh Tao, Thailand; and Andre Corral Tennille of Winston-Salem. Ushers were Robinson Wills Allen, Mark Rahen Bachara, William Hunter Herring, Zachary Forrest Lamb, Andrew Oltman Mathews, Samuel Russel Mickle III and Cameron Curtis Templeton. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Jumping Run Farm. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by Clyde Peebles Harris Jr. at Jumping Run Farm. Earlier that day, a bridesmaids' luncheon was held by friends of the bride's family at Wolfpit Bed and Breakfast in Louisburg. On the day of the wedding, a wedding day brunch was hosted by the groom's aunts and grandmother at Jumping Run Farm. Following a wedding trip to Anguilla, the couple will reside in Atlanta. |
