CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Hillary Quinn Rich and William Hunter Herring, both of Charleston, exchanged wedding vows April 26 at Drayton Hall. The Reverend Doctor William Michael Presnell officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Noel Rich of Lexington, Ky. She is the granddaughter of Anna Mae Kasacavage and the late Vincent James Kasacavage of Henderson, Ky., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rich of Glasgow, Ky. She graduated from Sayre School in Lexington and received a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from the College of Charleston.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rouse Herring of Wilson, N.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Hunter Lee Fleming Jr. and the late Mr. Fleming of Wilson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haven Herring of Roseboro, N.C. He graduated from Greenfield School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of Charleston. He is the construction manager for Firstcoast Homes, Inc.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Maid of honor was Lauren Ruth Johnson of Austin, Texas.

Bridesmaids were Kerr Ann Carter of Charleston, Jamie Rice Leveridge of New York, N.Y., Kristen Elaine Everett of New York, N.Y., Katherine Brierley Schoene of Ketchum, Idaho, Claudia Marie Tyler of Louisville, Ky., Jacquelyn Covington Stafford of Charlotte, N.C., and Jodie Herbig Cochran of Charleston.

Caroline Emma Brandon Cochran of Charleston was the flower girl.

Reader was Martha Preston Worth of Charleston.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

Groomsmen were Fleming Carr Herring of Raleigh, N.C., brother of the bridegroom; John Norfleet Herring of Charleston, brother of the bridegroom; William McClarey Graham of Greensboro, N.C.; Scott Randall Hondros of Greensboro, N.C.; Christopher Ryan Best of Raleigh, N.C.; Clark Walston Harris of Weaverville, N.C.; Harry Carter Stuart Cochran of Charleston; and Thomas Kidder Gore of Charleston.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception and dance was held at Drayton Hall. Hosts were the bride's parents.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at McCrady's Restaurant in Charleston.

Following the rehearsal dinner, an after rehearsal party and dance was held at the Hibernian Hall in Charleston. Hosts were the bridegroom's parents.

Since returning from a honeymoon in Grenada, West Indies, the couple is living in Johns Island, S.C.
