Weddings
Adams-Fulghum Christie Lyne Fulghum and Andrew Franklin Adams, both of Wilson, exchanged wedding vows May 10 at Wilson Praise and Worship. Cliff Lewin officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Randy and Timberly Fulghum of Wilson. She is the granddaughter of Brenda Thorpe and the late Ray Thorpe and Gene and Janie Nichols. She graduated from Community Christian School and received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Barton College. She is an administrative assistant at Building Blocks for Tots. The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Donna Adams of Wilson. He is the grandson of Ralph and Ruth Worrell and Frank and Wynona Adams. He graduated from Fike High School and received a degree in career pilot technology from Lenoir Community College. He is employed as a First Officer for PSA Airlines. The bride was escorted by her father. Maids of honor were Beth Edmundson and Kelly Beard. Bridesmaids were Nicole Adams, sister of the bridegroom, and Catherine Carter, cousin of the bridegroom. Bobby Vick served as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Leyshon, Cameron Grady, and Trent Barker. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Todd Fletcher Youth Center at Wilson Praise and Worship. Since their return from a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., the couple is living in Wilson.
