Adrienne Blair Warren of Sims and James Kevin Lacy Jr. of Clayton were married at the City of Wilson Rose Garden Oct. 16. The Rev. Kent Carpenter officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Marvin and Susan Warren of Sims. She is the granddaughter of the late Lousie Webb of Wilson, Donnie and Mary Webb of Wilson, the late Franklin D.R. Warren of Sims, and Josephine Warren of Sims. She graduated from Hunt High School and East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in middle grades education. She is employed by Wilson County Schools as a seventh-grade teacher.

The bridegroom is the son of Kevin and Gina Lacy of Clayton. He is the grandson of the late Yulonda Woodell of Wilmington. He graduated from Garner Senior High School and attended East Carolina University. He is in the United States Navy.

Upon return from a wedding trip in Atlantic Beach, the couple will reside in Sims.
