McNamara-McLees


Michelle Lynn McLees and Daniel Levi McNamara were married at the Wilson Rose Garden on Saturday, April 12, 2008.

The bride is the daughter of Mary McLees-Lane and Alan Lane of Wilson and Larry McLees of Menomonee Falls, Wis. She is the granddaughter of Monica and Richard Houdek of West Allis, Wis., Shirley McLees of Menomonee Falls and the late "Jack" McLees.

The bridegroom is the son of Doris and Curtis Pittman of Tarboro and Dan and Dianne McNamara of Wilson. He is the grandson of Joan McNamara Bailey and the late Richard "Chip" McNamara of New Hampshire, William and Dale Swan of Durham and the late Helen Swan.

The bride was escorted by her mother and stepfather. She wore a strapless satin A-line gown with beaded embroidered lace bodice, draped organza skirt and a chapel train.

Maid of honor was Jennifer McLees, sister of the bride.

Crystal Swain, friend of the bride, and Lana Pittman, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. The attendants wore cornflower blue satin floor length dresses.

Flower girls were Cayton Thompson, niece of the bride, and Sammantha Batchelor, niece of the bridegroom.

Marquis Freeman, friend of the bridegroom, was best man.

Groomsmen were Brett McLees, brother of the bride, and Will McNamara, brother of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Matthew Emory, nephew of the bride, and Henry Pittman, brother of the bridegroom.

Connor Gay, friend of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception and dance was hosted by the bride's parents at the Elks Lodge of Wilson.

On the night before the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at The Rib Hut.

After a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Wilson.
