GREENVILLE -- Bridgett Dawn Webb and Bryant Leonard Waters, both of Winterville, exchanged wedding vows April 26 at Yankee Hall Plantation. The Rev. Johnny Branch officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Randolph and Sandra Webb of Macclesfield. She is the granddaughter of Blanche Webb of Macclesfield and the late Carl Webb, and the late Eddie and Katie Bridgers of Macclesfield. She graduated from SouthWest Edgecombe High School in Pinetops and received a bachelor's degree in applied sociology with a minor in business administration from East Carolina University. She is employed at BB&T in Wilson as a manager in the Hazard Insurance department.

The bridegroom is the son of Lennie and Wanda Waters of Greenville. He is the grandson of Jean Waters of Hobgood, the late Robert and Bitha Waters of Hobgood, and the late Henry and Virginia Griffith of Franklin, Va. He graduated from North Pitt High School, and received an associate's degree in fire protection technology from Wilson Technical Community College. He is enrolled at Fayetteville State University, pursuing a four-year degree in fire administration. He is a fire inspector for the Office of State Fire Marshal.

Escorted by her father, the bride chose for her wedding a white satin and taffeta strapless gown with beaded metallic lace accenting the bodice. The gown featured a pick-up skirt.

The bride wore her niece's pearl bracelet, a beautiful diamond necklace that belonged to the bridegroom's late maternal grandmother, and a gorgeous pair of diamond earrings given to her by the bridegroom on the day of the wedding.

She carried a bouquet of red tulips.

Matron of honor was Kimberly Cole of Fountain, sister of the bride. She wore a cherry red and white top and cherry red tea-length skirt.

Bridesmaids were Kayla Cole of Fountain, the bride's niece; Allison Taylor of Tarboro, the bride's cousin; Katie Waters of Greenville, the bridegroom's sister; Heather Lasitter of Winterville; Mary Ruth Brantley of Winterville; and Holly Rundell of Greenville. They wore two-piece, cherry red chiffon tea-length dresses.

Flower girl was Sydney Dunstan of Elizabeth City, cousin of the bridegroom. She wore a white taffeta dress similar to the bride's gown.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

Groomsmen were Randall Webb of Macclesfield, the bride's brother; Brock Davenport of Winterville; Chad Harrell of Raleigh; Will Harris of Bath; Lester Layton of Winterville; and Steve West of Winterville.

Deborah Himmelfarb was the register attendant.

Program attendants were Nicole Harrell and Jennifer Jones.

Sherron Deal directed the wedding.

Wedding music was provided by vocalists and instrumentalists Matty Russo of Wilson and Matt Bergenn of Rocky Mount, both of the band Joceifus Rifle.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Yankee Hall Plantation ballroom. Reception greeters were Chris and Tonya Miles. Mary Speight and Gertie York served the wedding cake.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Yankee Hall Plantation.

On the afternoon of the wedding, a pool party was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at their home for the bridegroom and his groomsmen.

Since their return from a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, they are living in Winterville.
