White-Aycock


HOBBSVILLE -- Jennifer Lynn Aycock and Warren Brooks White, both of Greenville, exchanged wedding vows May 24 at Warwick Baptist Church. The Rev. Toni Wood and Wayne Wood officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jarvis Aycock of Wilson and Judy Aycock of Tarboro. She is the granddaughter of the late J.T. and Anna Aycock of Lucama and the late Lacy and Mary Catherine Warren of Ahoskie. She graduated from Fike High School and received a bachelor's degree in exercise science from East Carolina University. She is a scheduling coordinator at Eastern Neurosurgical and Spine in Greenville.

The bridegroom is the son of Henry and Denise White of Hobbsville. He is the grandson of the late Dennis and Eleanor Basnight of Camden and the late Dillard and Lala White of Hobbsville. He graduated from Gates County High School and received a degree in recreation management from East Carolina University. He is employed by Overton's in Greenville as a marine buyer.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Maid of honor was Megan Hardee of Wilson.

Bridesmaids were Jennifer Wilson of Wilson; Allison Bowers of Wilson; Virginia White of Greenville, sister of the bridegroom; and Holly White of Greenville, sister of the bridegroom.

Flower girl was Olivia Linzy of Carmel, Ind., cousin and goddaughter of the bride.

The bridegroom's father served as best man for the ceremony.

Groomsmen were Brandon Briggs of New Bern, Matt Eatmon of Greenville, Josh Powell of Eure, and Josh Aycock of Farmville.

Collin and Cole Basnight, both of Southport, cousins of the bridegroom, served as junior groomsmen.

Ring bearer for the ceremony was Noah Aycock of Farmville, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Chowan County Golf and Country Club. Hosts were the bride's parents.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Dam House in Tyner.

Also on the weekend of the wedding, a bridal luncheon was held at Nicholson House in Belvidere. Hosts were Rita Middleton, Ellen Russell, and Carolyn Ward.

Since their return from a honeymoon in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, they are living in Greenville.
