Williams-Jones
PINE KNOLL SHORES -- Jessica Dee Jones and David Bryan Williams of Bailey exchanged marriage vows on the waterfront property of the Crystal Coast Country Club July 25th. The 5 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Frank Duncan of Bailey.
Jim and Barbara Jones are the bride's parents. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Judy Jones of Bailey and the late Weldon Deans of Nashville. She graduated from Southern Nash High School and will graduate in May with an Associate's degree in Medical Assisting from Johnston Community College. She is employed part time as a medical assistant at Wilson Digestive Disease Center.
The groom is the son of H.C. and Bettie Williams of Bailey. He is the grandson of Esther Williams and the late Woodrow Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Joyner. He graduated from Southern Nash High School and North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Science. He is a greenhouse grower and manager at Williams Plant Farm.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory Cambodian silk gown styled with a strapless, fitted bodice. The gown also featured elegant diagonal ruching on the bodice accented with Swarovski crystals and pearls, a small flare and a chapel train.
Her headpiece was made of Swarovski crystals and pearls to match the dress.
She carried a round, hand-tied bouquet of white roses with a hint of green dendrobium orchids. The stems were wrapped in pearls.
Tiffany Jernigan of Bailey was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Allison Williams of Bailey; Dana Narron and Laura Murray of Middlesex; Lindsay Tart of Benson; and Lindsey Austin of Bailey.
The attendants' wore apple green, knee-length, iridescent taffeta gowns with a contrasting blue topaz trim and sash.
Flower girls were Layla Austin and Madelyn Carraway of Bailey. They wore white, full-skirt iridescent gowns fashioned with a natural waist and pin tucked bodice highlighted with small pearls, a blue topaz satin band and bow at the waist.
Best man was the groom's father.
Groomsmen were Andrew Lewis and Brandon Alford of Middlesex; the bride's brother, Jimmy JonesIII of Bailey; the groom's brother, Michael Williams of Bailey; and Steven Sherrod of Bailey.
Darren Tart of Benson was the ring bearer.
Wedding music was provided by violinist Roy Roebuck and vocalist Lindsey Austin.
Kristen Mullen of Middlesex served as both register and program attendant.
Wedding director was Jennifer Salter of Pine Knoll Shores.
A reception at the Crystal Coast Country Club followed the ceremony. The bride's parents were hosts.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the North Carolina Aquarium.
They have returned from their honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, and they now reside in Bailey.
