Scott Bailey
Genre: Independent/Session Drummer
Scott Bailey
Band Members: Scott Bailey
I have been fortunate over the past 30 years to be able to play with some very artistic and musical people. Since a very early age I heard the sounds of my surrounding Eastern North Carolina home. From, Country, Southern Gospel, Rock n Roll, Pop, R & B and Christian Rock. I would listen to them unknowing at the time this would give me the edge to become one to the most versatile drummers in the area. I was very inspired by Buddy Rich. Growing up in the 80’s when the more drums you had the better was the style; Buddy Rich could do much more with just a 4-piece kit. So I began to study music, not just reading it but by hearing it and being pulled into its influence at a very young age. Traveling in the 80's and 90’s gave me a chance to open up for a lot of popular rock groups. From the mid 90’s to present I have been focusing on God’s Music, recording and playing with Southern Gospel and Christian Rock bands. ...

Nite Owl
Genre: Classic Rock and Blues
Nite Owl
Band Members: Jim Bennett, Willie 'Snookie' Denton, Tim Evans, Rodney Skinner
Nite Owl is a relatively new band (formed spring '07) that can rock the club/bar/party/festival/etc. with 4 1/2 hours of classic rock & blues covers from the 50's to the 80's (newer material is in the works) including Hendrix, Stones, Allman Brothers, Van Halen, CS&N (and sometimes Y, haha), Joe Walsh, Buddy Guy, Cream, CCR, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. and promises not to play "Mustang Sally" or "Brown Eyed Girl" unless someone requests it and no one else protests. :) They also have some originals in the same vein, and highly danceable & rocked-out improvised jams that don't noodle aimlessly in C for 20 minutes. All of their material is family-friendly. Nite Owl is seeking gigs all over eastern North Carolina from the Triangle (maybe the Triad) to the Coast & Roanoke Rapids to Lumberton for now, maybe farther in the future. They're terrific now, and they're gonna be the best party/cover band in NC before long. ...

Critically acclaimed cover band Stone Age Romeos sizzle the stage with one of the most diverse set lists in the eastern U.S. Based out of the melting pot of Raleigh, NC these seasoned musicians are exposed to music spanning four decades. Bodies are in motion even before the booty-shaking grooves rumble your bones. Quite often a Mom and her 20 year old daughter approach the band and are amazed that both generations can enjoy the show. How many bands go from Elvis to Snoop Dogg to Chili Peppers to Justin Timberlake and then sprinkle in a little Kenny Chesney to mix it up? ...

Joceifus Rifle's song-driven rock was first introduced to an eager Raleigh crowd in December 2003. From that first show, the band has continued to tour building a strong fan base in their home state of North Carolina. Fronted by former Athens, GA music veteran Matty Russo (Mishap, Zuko), the quartet mixes acoustic and electric guitars, piano, and mandolin along with a tight rhythm section to deliver meaningful, concise rock songs. The soulful vocal harmonies created by Russo and Matthew Bergenn (lead guitar, piano, mandolin) give their songs an upbeat vibe and accent melodies that you'll find yourself singing along to for days after a show. Along with an already busy tour schedule, Joceifus Rifle currently resides as the "House Band" for Raleigh Radio Station "100.7 The River." Over the past four years the band has played hundreds of shows, released two EP's, a DVD, a live CD, and a full length CD. ...

Bombadil
Genre: Bombi-Pop
Bombadil
Band Members: Daniel Michalak, John Michalak, Stuart Robinson, Bryan Rahija, James Phillips
"With a sound all their own and a stage show to match, Bombadil is one of the freshest bands to emerge in a long time. Formed by Bryan Rahija, Stuart Robinson, and native Wilsonian brothers John and Daniel Michalak, the group began in Bolivia, where Daniel and Bryan met. Their experiences in the region lit a creative spark, leading the two to write songs incorporating international instruments and styles. After injecting their own instincts based in Piedmont blues, psychedelic rock, and Robinson's background in classical piano, the group composed a batch of songs that range from straightforward rock to raucous marches. Though their imaginations carry them far and wide, ultimately, the focus of Bombadil will always be the songwriting--with the endearing character of their songs letting the band carry a room whether there are fifty instruments on stage or just a single guitar and voice." ...
