Chase leads Snow Hill past Wayne Co. South

SNOW HILL -- The Snow Hill American Legion Junior baseball team trimmed visiting Wayne County South 4-3 on Monday evening.

Zack Chase picked up the victory in a relief effort on the mound while leading Snow Hill at the plate. Chase had a double among his three hits while driving in a run. Jasper Jones went 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Snow Hill plays host to Rocky Mount tonight at 7.
