McCrory will be at the Rib Hut, beginning at 11:30 a.m. He is scheduled to speak and then will meet with attendees. The event will end around 1 p.m.

The Rib Hut is in Eagle Farm shopping center, at the corner of Nash Street and Lake Wilson Road.
McCrory has been the mayor of Charlotte for 16 years. He faces Democrat Bev Perdue, now the lieutenant governor, in the Nov. 4 election.
