Pentecostal Holiness Churches Inc. will hold a 28th General Conference today to Friday at 6 p.m. today, 10 a.m. Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. nightly thereafter. Guest speakers will be Lisa Williams, today; Sandy Jones, Sunday; Katherine Ferguson, Monday; Shirley Gardener, Tuesday; Nellie Ampley and Flora Braswell, Wednesday; Nick Hardy, Thursday; and Sherri Hardy and Teresa Jones, Friday.

 

Christ Temple

Christ Temple of Praise will hold an afternoon service today at 5 p.m. with Lamont Brewington Sr. giving his initial sermon and music by Harmony of Wilson and the CTOP Combined Choir.

 

Mount Calvary Holiness

Mount Calvary Holiness Church of Deliverance will hold its 19th Annual Women's Holy Convention Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speakers will be the Rev. Doris McLean from New Jerusalem BCOG of Dunn, Thursday, and Adlay McArthur from God's House of Prayer of Dunn, Friday.

On June 29 at 11 a.m., there will be an illustrated sermon called "Why did I get married" by the Rev. Anthony P. Cox.

Also on June 29, at 4 p.m., there the 2008 Youth Explosion will take place, consisting of singing and dancing by many groups.

 

The Order of the Eastern Star

The District Order of the Eastern Star will be celebrating their Star Day Sunday at Bethel AME Zion Church in Stantonsburg. The Rev. Alonzo Braggs will be the guest speaker.

 

St. Paul-Black Creek Church

Vacation Bible School will begin Monday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m. nightly, June 30 through July 3.

 

Mount Calvary Holiness Church of Deliverance

A 19th Annual Women's Holy Convention will be held July 3-6. The church is located on 114 Lakeview Dr. The speaker for July 3 at 7 p.m. is Rev. Doris McLean of Dunn.

On July 4, the guest speaker will be Adlay McArthur of Dunn.
