Bynum paces Snow Hill past North Lenoir in 9 Bynum paces Snow Hill past North Lenoir in 9 SNOW HILL -- The Snow Hill American Legion Junior baseball team won for the third time this week when it edged visiting North Lenoir 9-8 in nine innings Thursday night. Will Bynum led Snow Hill at the plate with a 4-for-5 showing that included a double, triple and run batted in. Matt Jones knocked in three runs as he went 2 for 5 while Jasper Jones collected three hits in five trips. Wes Sowers had a pair of hits including a double. Deric Grant was the winning pitcher for Snow Hill, which improved to 10-6 overall and 8-5 in the Central Conference. Snow Hill visits Eastern Wayne tonight at 7.
